Lake View Staff

Rev. Stephen E. Smith, Senior Pastor

Steve has been the Senior Pastor of Lake View Church since January 1, 2003.  Steve attended Cedarville University, Spring Arbor University, and Huntington College Grad School.  He and his wife Pam enjoy over 42 years of marriage and are blessed with three children and nine grandchildren.  Steve has served the Lord in pastoral ministry most of his married life in roles such as: Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Concert Ministry, Impact Minister, and Senior Pastor.

Steve is passionate about the high calling and privilege of preaching and teaching God’s Word so that the lost will come to faith in Jesus Christ, and believers will become deeply rooted in their faith and knowledge of God’s Word, and active in sharing their faith in Jesus Christ to others!  His years of ministry experience and discipling new believers have enabled him to develop and implement a discipleship study that he has titled: Know, Grow, Show!  One of his passions, apart from preaching the truths of God’s Word is one-on-one or small group discipleship!  He enjoys relating with people of all ages and is actively involved in the Iron Men’s Ministry of Lake View.  He enjoys spending time with family, most all sports and riding his motorcycle.

His life verse is: And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1:6

Pam Smith, Office Administrator/Secretary

Pam joined the Lake View staff in January 2003.  She has served alongside her husband, Steve, in ministry for over 40 years.  The Lake View family is extremely important to her because of the encouragement and support they provide through ministry demands.

Along with her office responsibilities, Pam teaches a Ladies Sunday School Class, prepares the weekly “Plugged In” ladies devotional, and helps lead the Seeking Light Ladies ministry of Lake View Church.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and nine grandchildren, reading, and watching sports (Go Blue!).

Her life verse is: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13
